Lasagna My Way!!

If you know anything about me then you know that I LOVE to Cook & Bake!! So I would like to share one of my favorite recipe with my readers.  My Famous Lasagna! Lasagna Recipe

1 lb Ground Turkey

1 lb Sweet Italian Turkey Sausage

1 Cup minced sweet onion

1 cup minced green pepper

1 cup chopped mushrooms

2 cloves garlic, crushed

2 (28 ounce) can crushed tomatoes

2 Jars of tomato Sauce

2 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1 teaspoon seasoned pepper

4 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

2 teaspoons oregano

¼ cup chopped fresh basil

12 lasagna noodles

16 ounces ricotta cheese

2 eggs

1 1/2lbs pound mozzarella cheese,

3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

3 cups of fresh spinach


STEP 1:   In large Dutch oven, cook all of your veggies over medium heat until medium cooked. Then add in your Turkey and Italian sausage until well browned. Drain off any extra liquids off of the meat. Stir in crushed tomatoes, and jar sauce covering all of the meat.

STEP 2           Season with Fresh basil, oregano, Italian seasoning, seasoned pepper, and 2 tablespoons parsley. Lower hat and simmer, covered, for about 1 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally. PREHEAT OVEN TO 375 DEGREES F (190 DEGREES C)
